**Sourcing Specialist**

**Responsibilities**:

- Procures supplies, materials, services, tooling, and equipment for delivery at specified time or location.
- Places and updates purchase orders for NPI launches, manage delivery of products and ensures timely delivery to eliminate potential for backorders and stockouts.
- Work with the PMO team to update schedule on deliveries to ensure launch timelines can be achieved.
- Work with the Sourcing specialist on capacity planning and equipment requirements.
- Manage any subcontracting process.
- Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of materials through the fulfillment cycle.
- Advises team of any actual or potential material shortages. Work with Sourcing and Engineering to resolve any potential issue that may impact launch dates
- Ensures suppliers have complete product information to meet product quality standards and deliveries for production and assist with the PPAP process.
- Monitors performance of buyer KPIs and develops/executes improvement actions.
- Tracks individual complete and on-time delivery (COT) performance, assigns reason codes for order fulfillment failures, and drives actions to improve future performance for assigned commodities.
- Tracks and resolves material review board (MRB) parts and resolves supplier non-conformances and cost recovery.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience internationally supplies chain management, or equivalent education.
- Minimum 3+ year of procurement experience in Buying/Sourcing
- Working knowledge of international trade.
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration or Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Experience working with ERP systems or equivalent knowledge.
- Knowledge of material requirement planning, inventory control techniques, forecasting, production planning, RFQ, RFP and RFI process.
