Cloud Engineer I, Ai/ml, Global Services Delivery

**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience building machine learning solutions and working with technical customers.
- Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion.
- Experience coding in one or more general purpose languages (e.g., Python, Scala, R, etc.) including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Experience working with recommendation engines, data pipelines, or distributed machine learning.
- Experience in software development, professional services, solution engineering and technical consulting, including expertise in architecting and rolling out new technology and solution initiatives.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments (e.g., Apache Beam, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, MapReduce, Flume).
- Knowledge of cloud computing, including virtualization, hosted services, multi-tenant cloud infrastructures, storage systems, and content delivery networks.
- Excellent customer-facing communication and listening skills.

In this role, you are the Google Engineer working with Google's largest and most motivated Cloud customers. You will support customer implementation of Google Cloud products through: architecture guidance, best practices, data migration, capacity planning, implementation, troubleshooting, monitoring, etc.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code.
- Travel up to 30% for in-region for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities as needed.
- Deliver effective big data and machine learning solutions and solve technical customer issues.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to Google’s tactical customers.
- Identify new product features and feature gaps, provide guidance on existing product issues, and collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to influence the roadmap of Google Cloud Platform.
