Zurich Capability Center is currently looking for a:
**Cloud Platform Engineer**

To design, implement and support Cloud solutions. The team provides global support to Zurich IT projects to enable them to accelerate the cloud adoption.

You will be working in a very dynamic environment for Cloud Adoption & Migration with professional opportunities to grow in Cloud team and beyond and up skilling opportunities.

**As a Cloud Platform Engineer your skills and qualifications will ideally include**:

- In-depth experience designing, configuring, monitoring Azure Cloud Services.
- Extensive knowledge of software development and testing methodologies along with change and configuration management practices in multiple environments.
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences; own a collaborative, partnership mentality.
- Team player with a positive attitude, strong communication (English verbal and written) & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think outside of the box and be innovative by keeping abreast of new trends, identifying opportunities to bring in change for business benefit.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps and Agile methodologies and concepts.

**Technical Skills**
- Professional experience with automated deployment, continuous integration, and release engineering tools - Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Azure Cloud Services.
- Experience with security protocols and practices (SSO, OAuth2, OpenID, certificates).
- Strong familiarity with GIT and other version control systems as software configuration management and Source Code Management tools.
- Experience with some programming language (like.net, Java, Python, YAML, SQL).
- Strong familiarity with scripting, or mark-up languages, like PowerShell Script, Groovy, JavaScript, Bash, Python, XML, HTML, JSON, or YAML in professional or academic environments.
- Experience with different OS, like CentOS (or other Linux distributions), RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Windows Server.
- Strong Knowledge of Containerization (Docker) and Container Orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong Experience in AKS Design, Deployment, Configuration, Support & Troubleshooting.
- REST APIs Development.

**Requiered**
- Bachelor's level in Engineering or a career related to the position.
- 5+ years’ experience in **Azure** cloud engineering.
- Experience of managing public/private cloud technologies on Azure in a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Experience with one or more Infrastructure as Code Languages: Terraform, ARM, Ansible, Chef, Puppet. **Terraform**is preferred.
- **Advanced English**communication skills, both written and verbal.

**Additional Job Functions**
- Provide support for configure & migrate workloads to Azure Cloud in compliance with the strategy and the group.

**Business Accountabilities**
- Provide the cost-benefit in the cloud solution migration.
- Look for opportunities to reduce costs.

- Ensure that work is carried out efficiently and effectively.

- High level to interact with Internal Clients and external specialized Suppliers.
