We are growing and expanding our Manufacturing Site in Mexico In the job as Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will have the opportunity to actively support the organization by meeting ensuring that our manufacturing site runs as needed to have the growth expected of the products we make in Mexico, excel in your own daily tasks and responsibilities, and experience a very varied working day in a dynamic.

**Responsibilities and Essential Functions**:

- Comply with the company's environmental, health and safety policies, maintain maximum

availability 365 days a year; as well as carry out the work entrusted and deliver it to their
imediate boss.
- Support production areas in terms of building activities and facilities.
- Review daily maintenance checklist.
- Keep your work area and equipment clean.
- Implementation of continuous improvement in teams.
- Participate in reducing downtime.
- Collaboration in continuous improvement in chronic problems that generate dwntime.
- Check the proper use of the machinery and facilities of the company.
- Verification and maintenance of equipment.
- Perform corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Comply with and share KNW Mexico policies.
- Give continuity to the program to make it more efficient and continue based on

continuous improvement.
- Comply with the schedule of specific maintenance request tasks in a timely manner for

delivery to your immediate boss.
- Keep current daily check records of building, gas, water, electric equipment and

scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance records.
- Repair of building equipment and systems.
- Develop and maintain clean and operable building equipment and systems.
- Start and stop building maintenance equipment (air compressor, dryer, smoke extractors,

cooling tower, climate etc.) at the beginning and end of the shift.
- Manufacture and repair of real estate required.
- Manufacture of fixtures, scantlings and/or Poka-yokes.
- Disassemble, repair, adjust and maintain shop floor equipment.
- Development and efficient handling of hand tool equipment in the workshop.
- Perform work at heights in accordance with the provisions of the regulations for

hazardous work.
- Identification and review of significant aspects of environmental impact.
- Perform assigned work with quality, performed on time and correctly all the time.

**Authority**:
Report unsafe facilities, damage or vandalism to building equipment to your immediate boss.
Process in Charge, Building Maintenance.
- Qualifications / Education:

- High school or technical career.
- Finished repair and/or Mechanical technician, Electrical technician, Electromechanical

technician, Machine and tool technician, Industrial maintenance technician. Knowledge
on Pneumatic, hydraulics, electricity, electrical installations, interpretation of plans,
welding, plumbing, blacksmithing, heating, refrigeration, masonry, ducts, compressors,
electrical substations.

This is a manufacturing facility and as a result, employees have the potential to be exposed to noise, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, machinery, vibration, or other workplace hazards controlled within compliance of current safety and health standards.
