**Descripción y Requisitos**

**REPORTS TO**: Supplier Quality Manager

***:Responsible for ensuring materials meet technical specifications and to ensure materials are acceptable for production use.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Maintain clean and safe working environment in line with company policies
- Maintain & manage IQC Systems, Procedures, & functions for all incoming raw materials
- Notify Supplier Quality Manager of any needed changes to product specifications or IQC documents as well as aid in writing missing IQC specifications and or procedures as needed.
- Maintain IQC records per company policies.
- Oversee QCHOLD management of raw materials.
- Work on daily basis with Production, Quality & Purchasing staff on quality issues of raw materials.
- Oversee, manage & maintain Defective Material Report systems:

- Lead MRB reviews of all raw materials placed in QCHOLD.
- Identifying and arrange containment / spot audits of additional materials within CI Branch Plants that may also be affected.
- Writing and issuing of DMR’s to suppliers.
- Maintain DMR records, log, & KPI’s.
- Submit weekly DMR summary report to Supplier Quality Manager.
- Collect data for capability studies of raw material issues (as needed)
- Assist in FIFO management of Juarez & El Paso raw materials.
- Other duties as required, assigned or needed

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Degree in a Technical Field (preferably Quality or Engineering) or 5 years’ experience in a Quality role.
- Ability to interpret technical standards and convert into procedures
- Bi-Lingual: English and Spanish
- Strong statistical analysis capabilities
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to work with basic measuring instruments (calipers, micrometer, tape measure,)
- Ability to travel a minimum of 1 day a week between our Juarez, Mexico & El Paso, Texas facilities + local suppliers in Juarez / El Paso as needed.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds
- Standing for an 8-hour shift
- Forklift certified or ability to acquire certification.
