Assure execution of FAB & painting processes according to quality requirements. Develop strategies to implement a zero-defects and continues improvement culture that strives for customer satisfaction. As Process Quality Eng., in Fabrication processes your main goal is to assure full compliance of the in-house fabricated parts with the quality standards required to manufacture finish good in timely, cost-effective, and quality manner.
**This position reports to**:
Quality Specialist
**Your responsibilities**:
- Participate in 5´s Program as auditor or area owner when required. Do weekly audits per schedule.
- Coordinate with Process Quality Engineer in Assy the material segregation of non-conformance material from FAB, identify and contain to avoid escapes in a timely manner.
- Lead implementation or collaborate in the development of Core Tools such as PFMEA, Control Plan, Capability Analysis & Gage R&R).
- Develop STD formats to implement Core Tools, Quality Controls, procedures and KPIs measurement.
- Validate and approve Work Instructions, collaborate in the development of Rework Instructions & develop list of general CTQs to verify during the process implementation.
- Procure tools & equipment required by auditor to successfully meet their tasks. Quote, buy and maintain updated the inventory hold by auditor.
- Develop Quality Alerts according to findings registered in Quality Investigation driven by Non-Conformance in KPIs Trends like Scrap, FPY, etc. Communicate Quality Alert in a timely manner to operations.
- Provide timely support to operations when required in Quality Concern according to the work center distribution by QA Engineer.
**Your background**:
- Bachelor’s degree from and accredited university or college.
- 5 years of experience in similar functions.
- Previous Experience in Quality as Process Quality Engineer in metal transformation processes. Desired experience in Powder painting system.
- SAP & Minitab Desired.
- Advanced English.
- Strong oral and written communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
