Failure Analysis Technician

The Failure Analysis Technician has the responsibility to analyze the functional failures in the products detected in the manufacturing processes (EOL) or by the clients or at the request of the quality engineer and documents the results appropriately, complying with all the requirements/regulations of safety and quality.
Analyze internally rejected parts (EOL or others) and those received from customers (field or plant).
Receive, record and safeguard the parts returned by customers (field and plant).
It can support the analysis of the cause of part defects.
Analyze parts to identify failure mode
Prepare a complete report for each of the parties received and analyzed.
Receive and analyze the parts rejected in the internal functional tests. (EOL)
Prepare a report of each of the failure modes and distribute it
Carry out continuous life tests on special parts to verify their compliance with customer requirements.
Properly document and communicate the final reports.
Ensure that the equipment used for analysis is calibrated.
Make sure to update the metric charts of the department
Perform layered audits as required
Other activities assigned by management
Participate in Continuous Improvement activities as required
Manages Track Wise system to monitor failure analysis
