Senior Gcp DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled **Senior GCP DevOps Engineer** to drive the expansion of our platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role will focus on integrating GCP solutions while ensuring scalability, automation, and optimization of services, all within a challenging multi-cloud environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Design, implement, and manage GCP infrastructure using services such as GKE, Object Storage, Key Vaults, IAM, and DNS
- Develop and maintain containerized solutions utilizing Kubernetes and Docker
- Analyze distributed systems to ensure compatibility and facilitate problem-solving across components
- Automate processes and tasks using Bash or PowerShell scripting
- Administer system configurations for both Windows and Linux environments
- Create, test, and deploy infrastructure-as-code solutions with Terraform
- Optimize Kubernetes deployment processes leveraging Helm and Kubernetes API
- Configure existing systems and develop new solutions using Python or Golang
- Streamline CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on Azure DevOps
- Implement security best practices across GCP environments, including IAM and log exploration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud solutions with business goals

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of experience in DevOps roles, primarily working with GCP
- Proficiency in GCP solutions such as GKE, Object Storage, IAM, Container Registry, and DNS services
- Background in containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
- Knowledge of system configuration for Windows and Linux operating systems
- Expertise in scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell for automation
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools including Terraform and Helm
- Skills in Python or Golang for configuring and creating software solutions
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows and deployment pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps
- Competency in analyzing distributed systems with advanced problem-solving tools
- Showcase of experience managing security aspects like key vaults, logs, and DNS records
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English (B2 level or higher)

**Nice to have**
- Familiarity with Istio for service mesh routing
- Proficiency in Kubernetes operators and network policies
- Understanding of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Knowledge of authentication workflows using OAuth2/OIDC
- Capability to manage secrets with HashiCorp Vault/CSI secret store
- Experience with MySQL, Datastore, BigQuery, Pub/Sub topics, and/or Redis
