In this position you will have to communicate effectively with salesmen and work closely to the manufacturing and purchasing department in order to achieve day-to-day goals. Description As a design engineer you will have the opportunity to develop intelligent tools in order to make standard drawings, translate customer requirement into engineering drawings, and do cost analysis as well as quoting of different projects. To perform this job successfully you will have to: - Complete a hands-on training program - Develop standard drawings within a regulated environment - Manage projects delivering approval drawings, manufacturing prints and bill of materials - Generate 3D assemblies and layout drawings of conveying equipment - Develop pricing models and deliver quotes of made-to-order pieces **Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or similar. - 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferent. - Mechanical aptitude or technical inclination required. - Fully English speaker. - Inventor/AutoCAD/SolidEdge drafting skills is a plus. - Must be detail-oriented. - Passionate and committed to the excellence of Martin´s customer service. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Self-management with the drive to succeed and achieve goals. - Independent ability to evaluate situations, solve problems, and make decisions. - Recognition and ability to effect change and contribute to the organization's goals. - Energetic and positive with a willingness to grow skill set. **Experience**: Preferred - 2 year(s): Experience in manufacturing environment required **Education**: Preferred - Bachelors or better in Mechanical Engineering or related field **Behaviors**: Preferred - Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well **Motivations**: Preferred - Goal Completion: Inspired to perform well by the completion of tasks - Ability to Make an Impact: Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organization
