EDDY Pump Corporation is a leading innovator in the design and manufacturing of dredging and industrial pumping solutions. We are constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible through advanced technology and creativity. We are seeking a talented **Full-Stack Developer** to develop a front-end and back-end user experience (UX) that integrates with OpenAI's GPT. This platform will allow users to upload pump curves and generate customized solutions based on their input parameters.

**Position Overview**:
As a **Full-Stack Developer**, you will be responsible for designing and building an intuitive and efficient front-end and back-end UX/UI for a custom software tool that leverages OpenAI's GPT technology. Users will upload pump curves and input parameters through the front end, and your software will interface with GPT to generate custom pump curve solutions based on the uploaded data. This is a highly technical role that combines web development, UX/UI design, and integration of advanced AI tools.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Front-End Development**:

- Design and develop a user-friendly, intuitive web interface where users can upload pump curves and input relevant parameters.
- Ensure the front-end UI is responsive, visually appealing, and easy to navigate for a wide range of users.
- Integrate user inputs into a seamless workflow that interacts with back-end processes.

**Back-End Development**:

- Develop the backend architecture that processes user inputs, manages pump curve data, and sends relevant queries to the OpenAI GPT model.
- Build secure, scalable, and efficient APIs to connect the front-end interface with OpenAI.
- Ensure that user data is stored securely and handled according to industry best practices.

**OpenAI GPT Integration**:

- Integrate OpenAI’s GPT model with the custom software to allow the system to process inputs and generate customized pump curves.
- Ensure proper handling of input/output between the GPT model and the custom pump curves generated by the software.
- Work with OpenAI’s API to refine the query results and ensure accurate, relevant data output.

**Testing and Quality Assurance**:

- Perform rigorous testing on both the front and back-end systems to ensure smooth integration and optimal performance.
- Address bugs, performance bottlenecks, and UX issues that could affect the quality of the software.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy of the pump curve generation process.

**User Experience & Interface Design**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the needs of users (engineers, clients, sales teams) and create a UX/UI that simplifies complex workflows.
- Design input forms, data visualization (e.g., pump curves), and interactive elements that enhance the user experience.
- Continuously gather user feedback to optimize and improve the interface over time.

**Ongoing Maintenance & Support**:

- Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and updates for the software platform.
- Maintain and enhance the system’s scalability, ensuring it can handle increased user demand and evolving needs.

**Required Qualifications**:
**Experience**:

- 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, with expertise in front-end and back-end technologies.
- Proven experience integrating third-party APIs, particularly AI or machine learning models (e.g., OpenAI GPT).
- Experience with web development frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js for front-end development.
- Proficiency with back-end frameworks such as Node.js, Django, or Flask.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and data exchange formats like JSON.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
- Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and managing data structures for file uploads and complex data sets.
- Knowledge of AI integration, API consumption, and fine-tuning AI models (experience with OpenAI GPT is a plus).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools to display complex data like pump curves.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

**Soft Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail with a focus on delivering a high-quality user experience.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working in or knowledge of the industrial equipment, pumps, or engineering sector.
- Previous experience in creating software for engineers or technical professionals.
- Knowledge of machine learning principles or data analytics is a plus.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per month
