**About the role**

To manage the procurement of direct and indirect materials, ensuring timely supply to production lines, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting new project launches. The role involves supplier coordination, order planning, and issue resolution across the supply chain.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:

- Manage purchasing and logistics of materials.
- Plan material entries to production lines and review open purchase orders.
- Release and follow up on purchase orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers (mainly international: China, Europe, India).
- Monitor in-transit shipments and resolve import discrepancies.
- Analyze root causes of supply issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with supply chain, production, and engineering teams.
- Support inventory planning and engineering change follow-ups.
- Generate reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.

As a minimum you must have:

- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, direct materials, or supplier customer service.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and import documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with LeanDNA.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings (AutoCAD, Windchill).
- Background in automotive or manufacturing industries.
