IT Lead Data Engineer

Job Details:- The Lead IT Data Engineer leads and executes cloud cost optimization strategies, demonstrating expert data architecture and security knowledge. They are heavily involved in data strategy, driving the adoption of best practices in data management and governance within the organization. Their expertise also encompasses a comprehensive command of ETL tools and SQL, enabling them to handle the most challenging data scenarios and contribute significantly to the organization's data analytics capabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Help drive the overall data strategy, including designing and implementing comprehensive data architectures and visualization solutions.
- Architect end-to-end data solutions strongly emphasizing cloud cost optimization and enterprise-scale visualization.
- Drive data strategy, align data visualization initiatives with organizational goals, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Ensure enterprise-level data governance and security, including advanced row-level and column-level protections.
- Lead the integration of big data technologies, data streaming solutions, and advanced visualization tools in large-scale environments.
- Oversee complex data pipeline orchestration and drive the adoption of cutting-edge ETL tools and visualization principles.
- Mentor junior engineers in SQL, scripting, and advanced data visualization techniques, ensuring the creation of intuitive and visually appealing dashboards.
- Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors, ensuring the selection of the best tools for the organization’s needs.
- Lead the resolution of complex escalations, ensuring that any issues are swiftly and effectively addressed.
- Maintain a strong data privacy and security focus, ensuring all visualization solutions adhere to best practices.
- Communicate and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful data solutions that meet business needs.
- Perform other assigned job-related duties that align with our organization's vision, mission, and values and fall within your scope of practice.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience.
Preferred Certification(s): Any relevant IT Certification.
Experience: 5+ years of relevant and practical experience.

- Advanced skills in data streaming and real-time data processing.
- Expertise in designing complex data architectures and scalable systems.
- Deep knowledge of big data technologies and extensive experience with data security measures.
- Ability to lead data architecture reviews and approvals.
