- The IT Business Analyst plays a crucial role in connecting business needs with technological solutions within the Application Development and Support Team. This position involves gathering, analyzing, and documenting detailed business and system requirements, ensuring that the development team delivers solutions that meet these needs. The IT Business Analyst collaborates closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, identifies opportunities for improvement, and supports the implementation of new systems and processes that enhance business operations.

**Responsibilities and functions**
- Conduct in-depth interviews, workshops, and observation sessions with business users to gather detailed requirements
- Use techniques such as document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and task and workflow analysis.
- Identify and document functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.
- Develop comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS).
- Create detailed use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flow diagrams.
- Maintain requirement traceability matrices to track requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree (Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field)
- Upper-intermediate English level.
- Proficient in business analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Familiarity with modeling tools such as Microsoft Visio, or UML diagrams.
- Basic understanding of databases and ability to write simple SQL queries is a plus.
- 2-4 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
