Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.

Previous repair/analysis work experience
Basic understanding of complaint handling regulations
Skilled at presenting ideas to peers and engineers
Contributes to the success of process improvements through active participation on Lean Projects and Kaizen events.
Proficiency with standard desktop PC tools suites.
Experience summarizing technical results in concise textual format
Experience using analysis tools such as microscopes, oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, and calipers.
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with engineering staff to achieve project or group goals.
The ability to follow policies, procedures and work instructions
Must possess analytical, problem-solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
