**About the Social Media Manager Role**:
**ROLE DESCRIPTION**:
**Summary**:
The social media is an expert, with specific training in this area. Must have a complete understanding of all modern resources and tools. **They can be an influencia that has built their Town brand in social media from scratch.**

A passionate about social media in most of their daily activities: information, entertainment, communication with others, etc. Has to understand the different platforms and how to use them to reach specific goals.

Should have strategic vision and analytical skills. Must be an agile person with metrics, analytics, numbers and indicators (KPI) in order to analyze the results quickly, efficiently and reliably.

World-class communicator has to work effectively with different departments. Will lead social media strategies and work closely with the Community Manager.

With a high capacity to work under pressure, must be able to adapt to changes and make decisions in a short space of time.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and prepare the social media strategy of the brand, providing it with content and a professional approach.
- Define the objectives that the company wants to achieve with its social media actions in the most precise way possible.
- Monitor the actions in this area, checking if the planned objectives are being met.
- Analyze the main competitors.
- Maintain a fluid relationship with the Community Manager, helping him plan his daily tasks, giving him pertinent instructions, and sharing knowledge to grow as a team.
- Prepare contingency plans for online crisis and, if something occurs, actively collaborate in its resolution.
- Request designs (?)
- Manage information and elaboration of the weekly charts.
- Redaction and presentation of reports.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas for social media content.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
