T - his position as a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) in the GIP (Green Industrial Power) division of Infineon entails promoting Infineon power devices to customers in the Americas. T - his includes product recommendation, technical support, schematics & layouts review, trouble shooting, and simulate power electronics switches in converters. T - his position is primarily responsible for securing design-ins for Infineon’s products in customer’s end products. T - he position will support the marketing groups at Infineon by providing market and competitive feedback. G - iving technical training to internal and external partners is required. Also supporting conferences and trade shows (APEC, ECCE etc) is part of the job responsibility. This includes writing papers and or creating technical marketing material to be presented at the conferences. B - uilding relationships with engineers at customers and being a trusted advisor is an important aspect of the position. T - here is about 35% travel required.
