Quality Engineer

We are looking for a new Quality Engineer for a new project in Queretaro. The location of the plant is Finsa III, Industrial Park, Que.

The key responsibilities:

- Manage the progress quality problem solving on behalf of quality department, upgrade if necessary.
- Leading in problem solving (8D for claim /A3 for internal critical quality problems), drive 8D/A3 methodology to successfully get to the root cause and corrective planning in place.
- Leading in continuous improvement of quality area, like claim, FTT, process audit and measurement etc. to achieve and exceed quality targets.
- Effective communication, reporting and writing skills.
- Able to be competent for multiple tasks at the same time.
- Capture the ability to analyze key points in complex details.
- Collect/screen quality problems feedback on site and input them into the QRQC list.
- Determine and assign the person in charge of problem-solving according to different problems.
- Hold workshop QRQC meetings regularly and check in to ensure the participation rate of relevant personnel.
- The meeting will follow up the progress of solving various problems and the completion of A3/8D, and the person responsible for each problem will report.
- Summarized and upgraded the progress of QRQC problem solving daily/weekly/monthly, and pushed the progress of problem-solving strongly with the support of quality manager.
- Prepare monthly LPA plan and supervise the implementation.
- Summarized the situation of LPA problem closure and updated the weekly LPA bulletin board.
- Regularly summarize LPA problem points, statistically analyze the systematic.
- Collect monthly scrap and rework data from the system and send them to COPQ after confirmation. Decomposed COPQ data of financial calculation into units and prepared monthly COPQ reports.
- Statistical analysis of monthly data, identification of current COPQ pain points with Plato, breakdown of problems to relevant responsible persons and regularly follow up the progress.
- Maintain and update the quality part of SPQVC Kanban every week, such as customer complaint, COPQ, FTT/ scrap, LPA problem closure.
- Other duties as assigned.

About you:

- QE experience in an automotive in related industry min. 5 years.
- Familiar with automotive industry core 5 tools, understand IATF 16949, VDA6.3.
- Familiar with GD&T, machining, assembly process knowledge, understanding surface treatment plating, painting is perferred.
- Ability to lead 8D/A3 to solve product quality issues with coordinating cross-functional teams, Six-sigma green/black belt is preferred.

Pay: From $25,000.00 per month
