**MES Project Lead Engineer**:

The MES Project Lead Engineer is the technical lead for engineering activities related to Manufacturing Engineering System (MES) as well as Data Analytical systems implementation projects in Process Automation-Process Industries in Mexico. Reporting to the Project Operations Manager, you will drive excellence by ensuring that engineering activities are executed efficiently in line with expectations, specifications, standards and safety requirements.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Working closely with customers to shape and deliver solutions, and utilizing feedback to drive delivery of improvements
- Responsible of design and execution for assigned industrial system projects from kick-off through start up
- Detailed engineering documentation generation is a requirement of every project
- Working with designers and customers to develop quotes and specifications for systems. With the specification in hand develop the system to meet the customer’s requirements
- Support system test, installation, startup, and commissioning of the integrated systems. Lead project technical design and clarification meetings
- Working as part of a team or individually which result in the development of functional design specifications. Provide sales and proposals support to account managers and business development teams in defining / influencing customer’s systems / integration requirement
- Resolving complex technical issues both remotely and at customer sites in Mexico and elsewhere.

**Your background**:

- 7+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering System (MES) implementation
- Sound knowledge of engineering and project management techniques, processes and tools
- A strong focus on safety and dedication to following workplace safety guidelines
- Demonstrated management skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach
- Experience in programming languages
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer or data science or a similar field
- English Advanced
- Travel availability 25% - 50% is required.
