**Process Development Chemist, your future position?**

Working for the Querétaro plant, reporting to the Industrialization Manager, you will develop and implement improved or new product and ingredient processing techniques of a less complex nature to industrialize new ingredients at required quality and cost levels. This is an onsite position at the Querétaro plant in Mexico.

**In this exciting opportunity, you'll**:

- Provide technical input for designing the Process Development strategy and definition of related goals based on market intelligence (e.g. new technologies) and input provided by our partners, i.e. Engineering, S&T, C&A, Commercial, Procurement, Regulatory, or EHS.
- Scout market and partner with adjacent functions (S&T, Engineering, Regulatory, EHS) to identify and test new ingredients/products processing techniques/technologies to be onboarded and deployed within factories.
- Experiment new/different ways in using existing/new technologies and related products/ingredients processing (e.g. synthesis of fragrance ingredients).
- Develop new products/ingredients processing techniques and conduct lab tests and production pilots with other departments (S&T, Creation, Production) and external partners.
- Participate studies and evaluations of industrial equipment for the selected processing technique.
- Complete process development projects upon approval being obtained.
- Assist production chemists in the implementation of new/modified processes.
- Create technical documentation for retained processing technique.
- Conduct activities in compliance with internal and external EHS regulations.

**You?**
- Have a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or related fields;
- Have Organic Synthesis knowledge, practical or theoretical;
- 2+ years of experience working within a Lab environment and with Project Management;
- Fluent English required.
