This Position reports to:
Manufacturing Unit Manager

**Your role and responsibilities**

In this role you will have the opportunity to lead a team of HSE experts. Each day, you will make sure the team keeps developing capabilities and skills, supporting the business in the implementation of policies, practices and programs. You will also showcase your expertise by driving behavioral change and HSE learning within the organization.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite

This role is part of the NEMA motor division for Motion, located in Guadalajara, Jalisco (Mexico).

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Supporting line managers and supervisors in the organization in understanding obligations, liabilities and requirements
- Ensuring appropriate tools and measures are in place and used effectively, at the same time reporting the HSE incidents.
- Reporting on HSE performance and progress with respect to the Group objectives
- Drive behavioral change and ensuring HSE capabilities are optimized and aligned to standards and best practices

**Qualifications for the role**
- You are immersed in working with Mexican norms and regulations for Environment, Health and safety and the metal mechanic market
- You have 5 years of experience in HSE related tasks**,** working as manager or senior supervisor
- Highly adept in risk analysis, problem solving, ISO14001 and ISO45001 and legal requirement evaluation
- You are passionate about team building, proactive leadership.
- Bachelor's of Science degree, preferable with environment, health and safety background
- You are proficient in Spanish language and advanced in English.
