**Solicita**:Injection Mold Tooling & Equipment Engineer**

**Descripción y Requisitos**

Main purpose
- Assist with the implementation of new injection mold tools into North American sites as required
- Specify, procure and implement new Injection Molding Tooling for our North American sites.

Role and Responsibilities
- Interface with the product design team to review part designs relating to mold-ability, quality and cost
- Prepare estimates for new tooling
- Develop and/ or update tooling specifications for the RFQ process
- Work with tooling suppliers to design, develop and construct new injection mold tooling
- Work with tooling suppliers to trial and approve new tools for shipment. Dimensional compliance is critical at this stage.
- Coordinate delivery of tooling to manufacturing locations
- Work with plant personnel to trial new tooling and get it dimensionally approved for production (PPAP).
- Work with inspection/ quality teams to ensure plastic parts are inspected properly using the appropriate equipment and methods

Skills and strengths
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (any technical discipline / Injection Molding Technology preferred)
- Bilingual
- Required: At least 5 years experience working with & procuring Injection Molding Tooling (preferably with automotive background) and End of Arm robot tooling.
- High level engineering drawing and GD & T understanding
- Experienced with part inspection (CMM and blue light scanning) as well as CMM fixture design.
- High level of analytical and problem solving skills
- Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and equipment design
- Previous experience with equipment design, development and implementation, including Safety Risk Assessment
