**Descripción y Requisitos**
- **PRIMARY FUNCTION**:
The IT Support Engineer is responsible to assist the IT Manager in providing support to the end user community in all sites, address and manage Help Desk Tickets, participate in projects or implementations, troubleshoot and repair hardware and software as well as all Network and Telecommunications problems.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
z Respond to all requests for support registered in the Help Desk using a first-in first-out system unless otherwise instructed.
z Register all Help Desk support resolution on the knowledge base or create How to manuals for end users and IT personnel.
z It's responsible for the integrity of information Backups and Restore process, Verify, Document and Ensure all Data Center environment, equipment health and performance are at acceptable operational levels.
z Manage Phone Systems, Servers, Network Security and Devices, Voice Mail, Telecommunications and Cabling Infrastructure, Access Controls and CCTV Systems.
z Configure/Maintain/Repair Cabling/Network Infrastructure, Servers, CCTV and Access Controls & any Hardware/Software.
z Maintain and control accurate inventory of all supported technology fixed assets and Licenses, ensure software Licensing compliance.
z Manage and administrate Antivirus Protections Systems, WSUS, Data Integrity Backups and Restores.
z Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all Hardware, Software, Printers and Peripherals.
z Maintain current active databases that were internally developed.
z Manage and maintain WSUS, Antivirus platforms.
z Travel to El Paso or other sites as needed to assist meetings or provide assistance of any kind.
z Assist all departments with the necessary information for them to dispose technology fixed asset assigned to them.
z Enforce policies, procedures and best practices.
z Actively participates in the 6S Program, which is a critical business objective, ensuring compliance with the program regulations and carrying out the activities that are required as Auditor, Coordinator, Leader or member of the committee.
z Actively participates in the Safety and Environmental Systems, ensuring compliance with the system requirements and carrying out the activities in which it is involved.
z Performs work assignment in a safe, efficient, and ethical manner.
z Develops other activities assigned by management to support business operations.
z Conducted according to the guidelines of the quality policy.
z Know the quality objectives relevant to their role and actively participate in achieving them
- ** QUALIFICATIONS**:
- 3-5 Years' experience in hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft Windows XP/7, Windows 2k3/2k8, AD, Exchange Server, and Office 2 k 3/2 k 7, Access & SQL Databases.
- Highly Proficient in Switches and Routers, Access Points, NAS, Firewalls, Web Filters, Wireless Bridges and Virtualization Technologies.
- Emphatic, Friendly and humble person with strong convictions, honest and loyal.
- Self-motivated, proactive and positive attitude with great teamwork skills.
