Senior Systems Engineer, Client Computing Platforms

Responsibilities also include monitoring the client computing infrastructure, handling system updates, security patches, system refreshes, and leading 24x7 support activities. The role involves working with contractors, service providers, and internal teams to ensure the smooth operation and advancement of the client computing environment. Regular interaction with vendors and third-party service providers is also essential.
- Responsibilities: _

The engineer oversees daily administration and troubleshooting of the client computing infrastructure, addressing system tuning and capacity management while adhering to enterprise standards. Collaboration with end-user services and vendors is essential for ongoing support.

Participation in design sessions for technical infrastructure and cloud processes, as well as the development of documentation for architecture standards and project specifications, is also required. The role emphasizes stakeholder and vendor management, fostering relationships with users and teams within our client´s Global IT Infrastructure, Application, and Security.
- Work experience:_
- **10 years of experience in Enterprise IT industry experience** encompassing a wide range of skill set, roles and industry verticals including a large-scale global IT operation, envisioning, design, implementation, migrations, transformations, deployment rollout including broad experience with driving IT platform architecture/design/administration, service management and IT governance/control processes
- **10 years of progressive experience working with 4 or more** of the following functional technology areas.

2. End User Computing technologies, Microsoft 0ffice 365, Microsoft Collaboration, Hybrid-Azure Active Directory, Security administration, Apple Enterprise technologies, Servers, Networking, automation services, across the enterprise, retail, distribution, and manufacturing business segments
3. Design, engineering, and administration of modern enterprise client computing operating systems & platforms - Windows, MacOS, Linux, Thin-Client OS, Mobile OS (iOS/Android), Intune, Azure, Defender, Citrix & Azure Virtual Desktops/Applications
5. Enterprise MDM/MAM and endpoint system management - (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android) Intune, SOTI, 10Zig, JAMF, Beyond Trust Insight (EPM) & Remote Support (Bomgar)
6. Enterprise client hardware build and deployment management - DELL, Apple, HP, Lenovo, 10zig, Thin-Client, Mobile devices, Zebra, printing

-** 5 years of experience with infrastructure orchestration and automation** (Infrastructure-as-Code, Configuration-as-Code) for provisioning and management of on-premises infrastructure, Azure hosted Infrastructure-as-a-Service and Platform-as-a-Service capabilities (Azure) including virtual networks, virtual machines, and data services
- ** 5 years of experience with agile IT framework**, CI/CD platforms and tools such as Azure DevOps, Pipeline, Git, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
- **5 years of experience with scripting and automating Infrastructure and cloud platforms**using scripting languages, tools and management of script libraries such as Azure PowerShell, PowerShell, Azure ARM\AUM, Python, Bash, Ansible, Broadcom (CA) Automic
- ** 5 years of experience with advance level knowledge of networking**, TCP/IP, routers, load balancers and XML gateway devices, including IPv4, IPv6, SFTP, SSH, PKI/SSL, DNS, DHCP, HTTPS, URL Filtering, NAC, etc.
- Education requirements: _
- **Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field**preferred, or a 10+ years combination of equivalent education and relevant experience
- **Certification in Cloud Computing Platforms**(e.g., PowerShell, Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP)
- ITIL Certification and experience preferred
