**QA Engineer**

**What You’ll Do**:
- Participate in project-level verification activities (reviews, inspections and walk-through) to become familiar with project requirements, design, etc.
- Plan, develop, implement, review manual and automated test results and ensure test completion and automation updates. Document, retest and track defects until resolved. Define, produce, maintain and report applicable test metrics.
- Work on problems of limited scope; follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
- Drive quality and process improvement throughout development group. As needed, participate in Skill base projects necessary to keep current with best practices in testing.
- Document in detail, all analyses and correspondences throughout the issue resolution process; provide proactive status updates to customers
- What You’ll Need:
- Education/Licenses: Bachelor’s degree in quality assurance or other related field
**What You’ll Need**:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or quality assurance.
- 1-3 years experience in a software quality role
- Experience of software testing/test automation including use of a test automation tool such as Selenium or Jmeter and software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Python or similar scripting language, preferably with experience in a test automation context.
- ERP system knowledge is an advantage but not essential.
- APICS certification an advantage but not essential
- API testing experience, an advantage but not essential
- Experience working with a test management tool, an advantage but not essential.
- Knowledge of TestComplete, an advantage but not essential.
- Technical skills - ability to execute automation scripts in Visual basic, testcomplete and JMeter
- Self starter - managing workload in an agile environment
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Good problem solving skills - analyze and correct data inconsistencies
- Good Communication skills - Need to communicate closely with project team QA’s and Project Manager to ensure a clear understanding of requirements
