Product Quality Auditor

**Job Summary**
We are looking for a **Quality Auditor (Metallurgical)** to strengthen our quality processes and ensure that product standards exceed client expectations. This role is key in training operational staff, implementing corrective actions, reducing rejections, and improving cutting processes on production lines.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Monitor product and process quality, acting as first contact with clients for quality concerns.
- Train and guide operational staff to identify and prevent nonconformities.
- Lead corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
- Improve cutting processes and overall production quality.
- Inspect and test materials, processes, and products to meet specifications and standards.
- Support client visits and audits, providing technical explanations and solutions.
- Implement and follow up quality tools and methodologies (SPC, PFMEA, PPAP, 8D, APQP, MSA, etc.).
- Monitor quality KPIs (scrap, rework, return rates) and drive continuous improvement.

**Requirements**:

- **Bachelor’s degree** in Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, or related field (mandatory).
- **1+ years of experience** in product quality (preferably in metallurgy, or steel processes).
- Strong knowledge of metallurgical properties, quality defects, and their root causes.
- **English: Conversational level (required)**.
- Experience in corrective actions, quality audits, and customer interactions.
- Availability to **work rotating shifts**.
- Knowledge of quality standards**:ASTM, ISO 9001, IATF 16949**.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills; experience with Lean/Six Sigma is a plus.
- Reside in or willing to relocate to Saltillo / Ramos Arizpe.
