DESCRIPTION

Ready to transform vendor relationships through the power of data? Help shape the future of Amazon's vendor relationships through the power of data analytics. We're seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) team in Mexico and drive strategic transformation through advanced insights. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining data solutions that support our vendor management program, working closely with Brand Specialists, Team Leads, and business stakeholders to drive data-driven decision making.

Key job responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data solutions to support key business initiatives and vendor management programs.
- Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reporting systems to track key performance indicators across multiple business dimensions.
- Support the implementation and optimization of business intelligence tools by providing data infrastructure and analytics support.
- Create and maintain ETL pipelines to consolidate data from multiple enterprise sources and systems
- Partner with Product Managers and Team Leads to develop data-driven insights for strategic decision making.
- Build and maintain predictive models to optimize resource allocation and business operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation through data analysis.
- Create and maintain documentation for data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Monitor data quality and implement processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

A day in the life
As a Business Intelligence Engineer, every day brings exciting new challenges and opportunities to make an impact.

Your day involves collaborating with a diverse group of talented individuals - from Product Managers to Data Scientists. Together, you brainstorm solutions and transform business questions into data-driven answers. Think of yourself as a data detective, using your analytical skills to uncover insights that others might miss.

When you're not in collaborative sessions, you're crafting intuitive dashboards that tell compelling data stories. It's like being both an architect and an artist - designing the structure of data visualization while making it beautiful and easy to understand.

Sometimes, you will put on your problem-solving hat to investigate performance trends. Using your technical expertise, you will dig deep into the data to find root causes and propose solutions. It is satisfying to see how your analysis directly influences business strategies and decisions.

Throughout your day, you'll also be maintaining and improving our data processes, ensuring that when someone needs insights, they have access to accurate and reliable information. You might find yourself designing new analytics solutions one moment and optimizing existing processes the next.

The best part? No two days are exactly alike. You're constantly learning and growing, whether it's exploring new technologies or uncovering interesting patterns in the data. Your work directly impacts how Amazon makes decisions, and that's pretty exciting
