Position Summary

Come and be part of the S&P Global’s Artificial Intelligence team We are building deep-learning based natural language processing, information retrieval, document understanding, data mining and knowledge engineering solutions into S&P Global intelligent products that serve all major industries and markets.

S&P Global is looking for a Senior Data Scientist (NLP domain) to join our AI Research & Development group. In this role, you will be responsible for translating business and functional requirements into high-quality deliverables with consistent project structure and design, datasets and Deep Learning architecture, quality assurance, and deployment of high-quality state-of-art AI solutions into diversity of S&P Global products, with respect to innovations, scientific research and experimentation.

Job

**Responsibilities**:

- Converting business problems to Data Science tasks
- Responsibility for all steps of ML projects
- Building state of art neural architectures for Natural Language Processing, Document Understanding and Information Retrieval - model selection, fine-tuning, optimization
- Training high-quality domain-specific models on latest GPU hardware
- Productionizing neural AI/ML projects
- Hunting for quality datasets, including development of datasets from scratch
- Learning and sharing new things around AI, ML, NN, NLP to keep the AI team on the cutting edge
- Mentoring Junior Data Scientists

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or related field
- Strong experience with data analysis tools
- Solid understanding of Stats/ML/DL on deep level
- Strong practical experience in building of own DL models with TensorFlow, Keras and/or PyTorch
- Strong programming skills (good style Python)
- English language (B1+)
- PhD Degree
- Publications in related domain
- Developed skills in algorithms and data structures
- Also experience with C++ programming
- Linux user experience
