**Responsibilities**:
**The** **Opportunity**

The Inventory Planning Analyst primary responsibility is to provide analytical and transactional assistance for the production planners. This role will be responsible for reporting such as attainment tracking and aging. The role will also be responsible for working with the production planners to understand their deployment plans. In addition to assisting the production planners, the person will also own the inventory balancing of products at the Joliet regional warehouse to insure that physical inventories match SAP inventories.

**Your Impact**

As Inventory Planning Analyst your functions would consist of
- Track copacker attainment and publish weekly report
- Monitor inventory
- Summarize aging data and advise the team on critical items. Make recommendations on how to reduce the aging inventory
- Monitor weekly freshness reports to develop a game plan to address products that will not meet freshness goals.
- Monitor inventories of items that are to be discontinued to eliminate / minimize scrap dollars, including finished goods, semi - finished goods ingredients and materials.
- Strong working relationships with internal groups such as Demand Planning, Customer Service, Commercialization Manager, Logistics and Transportation.
- Balance inventory weekly for items that are stored in the Joliet Regional Warehosue

Qualifications:
**Who Are We Looking For?**
- Fluent in English
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must possess strong analytical skills, including problem analysis and resolution.
- Strong interpersonal skills, influence management skills, and demonstrated ability to work and participate effectively in a team environment
- Comfort in presenting data weekly to the team and cross functional partners
- High comfort level working in Supply Planning systems
- Experience with Microsoft Excel required
- Ability to simplify complex data and communicate effectively
- Self-motivated and ambitious, ability to work and think beyond the scope of a given assignment
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in planning, data systems, or related field.
