Repair & Quality Improvements Specialist (Finished Vehicles)

We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven professional to join our Repair & Quality Improvement team for finished vehicles. This full-time position is based at the Saltillo Complex, with daily responsibility for overseeing repair and quality improvement activities across the facility and associated yards. The role requires strong coordination with third-party service providers, 3PLs, and internal teams to ensure vehicle quality, manage repair processes, and drive initiatives to reduce vehicle damage and costs within the network.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead quality improvement efforts for finished vehicles prior to dealer distribution.
- Oversee repair and quality activities at the Saltillo complex and regional yards, ports (Altamira & Lazaro Cardens) ensuring compliance with company standards and requirements.
- Identify, document, and track vehicle repair needs (cosmetic, mechanical, and electronic).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, logistics, supply chain, and quality to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Partner with third-party repair providers and 3PLs to ensure claims are submitted accurately, in compliance with requirements, and within established timelines.
- **Follow up on claim status from initiation through closure, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation.**:
- Investigate and identify opportunities to reduce vehicle damage within the network, and support implementation of preventive measures and process improvements.
- Participate in root cause analysis of recurring defects and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Monitor and update repair status in internal systems to maintain accurate reporting.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and audits to validate repair standards and compliance with quality expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement projects focused on reducing rework, dwell time, and repair-related costs.
- Prepare data analysis and reports to assist leadership with performance tracking and decision-making.
- Required to travel when required.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in vehicle quality, logistics, or repair operations (automotive industry experience preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external providers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to drive accountability.
