**R&D Mechanical Development Engineer entry-intermediate**

**Description**

**Responsibilities**
- 3D modeling in CAD for parts and assemblies of electronic modules.
- 2D drafting for parts and assemblies of plastic, die casting, stamping or machined parts.
- Conceptualization of design concepts for electronic modules and assembly or test fixtures.
- Trouble shooting of validation and/or manufacturing issues.
- Design documentation such as requirements and change management.

**Core Capabilities**:

- MCAD tools.
- Fluent English.
- Strong communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Capable of working effectively with diverse engineering and manufacturing team members, bridging organizational and geographic boundaries.
- Design Guidelines.
- Able to create and modify 3D models.
- Manufacturability guidelines.
- Process oriented.
- Ability to assemble presentations for design reviews and product quotations.
- Strong motivation to learn.
- Well organized person, attentive to details, rigorous.

**Basic Knowledge in**:

- GD&T.
- DFMEA.
- FEA
- WISE
- CREO
- Office 360

**Education/Experience**:

- BS Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer.
- Mechanical design experience is desired.
