ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Buyer to join our team and support efficient procurement operations across our supply chain. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the timely acquisition of materials and services essential to the organization’s success. You will be responsible for managing purchase orders, maintaining procurement quality and efficiency, and ensuring that all purchasing needs are met to support optimal operational performance.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**:

- Preparing accurate and comprehensive purchase orders, ensuring the correct specification of required products or services, appropriate quantities, and established delivery deadlines.
- Consistently tracking delivery dates committed by suppliers, identifying and proactively managing any deviations or delays.
- Supervising and managing backlog lines to prevent supply interruptions, implementing corrective actions and mitigation strategies when necessary.
- Developing effective solutions for the efficient use and management of consumables and high-turnover items, optimizing inventory and reducing associated costs.
- Acting as the primary service contact for plant personnel, representing the supply chain function and providing support in all procurement and sourcing-related matters.
- Collaborating closely with other departments—including integration, warehouse, sourcing, material planning, and logistics—to ensure seamless integration of procurement activities with operational processes.
- Maintaining clear and effective communication with suppliers and building strong relationships based on trust and collaboration.
- Conducting regular analyses of supplier and market performance to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization in the procurement process.
- Staying current on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance procurement efficiency and performance.

**WHAT WE WANT TO SEE**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
- Previous experience in similar procurement roles (1-2 years of experience)
- Solid knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory management.
- Advanced interpersonal communication skills, ability to build strong relationships and work effectively in teams.
- Results-oriented and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic and demanding environment.
- Proficiency in computer tools and supply chain management systems. Fluency in English
