Position Summary:
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Customs & Logistics process

Job Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and manage shipment air, ground and sea.
- Coordinate and manage critical shipment as Hand Carry and Charters
- Quote critical shipments
- Follow the deadlines and delivery schedules in the shipments.
- Coordinate and manage shipments by FEDEX, UPS and DHL (parcel and heavyweight)
- Knowledge and managing 4PLs (Control Tower)
- Look for new strategies to optimize resources and cost in the logistics process.
- Experience in Customs clearance process inbound and outbound
- Elaborates Daily, Weekly, Monthly reports
- Elaborates KPIs
- Identify operations standard and the premium freight.
- Analysis and diagnosis of routes and transit times
- Strong communication with internal and external clients about shipment status

Basic Qualifications:

- 2 years of experience in Logistics/Trafic department as Logistics analyst
- 2 years of experience working with forwarders in the area of pricing/Sourcing & operations (preferably)
- Knowledge in the law and regulations in International Trade, Incoterms, and transportation modes.
- Logistics routes,
- Deal with customs brokers
- Deal with carriers and forwarders
- Knowledge the mode of shipments LCL, FCL, LTL, FTL.
- Knowledge in CTPAT and OEA programs
- Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency of labor.
- Analysis capacity,
- Knowledge the Maquila program
- English 80%
- Office programs
