**¿Qué estamos buscando?**:

- Collaborate in defining the business strategy, business plan, budgets and financial forecasts for the industry under his / her responsibility.
- Lead the origination of M&A operations with current or prospective clients to meet budgetary and strategic targets
- Provide a comprehensive financial advisory service to clients at top levels (Boards, CEOs), delivering tailored sell-side and buy-side advisory solutions.
- Build long-term external relationships and manage accounts.
- Coordinate and supervise the entire M&A execution process with the support of the Senior M&A Specialist:

- Ownership, oversight and validate the financial valuation, preliminary transaction price advisory and fairness opinion
- Ownership and oversight the preparation of presentation books, management presentations, board materials, memoranda, and other presentation materials for use in transactions or strategic client dialogue
- Negotiate the advisory contract's terms and conditions with the clients in closely collaboration with Legal
- Monitor the due diligence process, checking and reviewing all documentation
- Support the client in the negotiation of the transaction's price and conditions with the final investor/s and in the signing of the transaction's closing
- Liaise alongside other CIB products for fostering product's cross-selling and with CIB support units for the deal execution
- Engage in recruiting, training and mentoring of Senior M&A Specialists

**Qualifications and Experience**
- **10+ years of experience**in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development with a focus on mergers and acquisitions within the retail sector.
- Proven track record of **leading and closing complex M&A transactions**, including buy-side and sell-side mandates.
- Deep understanding of the **retail industry landscape**, including current trends, market dynamics, and key players.
- Extensive experience in **financial modeling and valuation**, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
- Demonstrated ability to **manage and mentor junior team members**, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Strong network of **C-level contacts and key decision-makers**within the retail and investment communities.
