Main Activities - Properly qualify products under USMCA/T-MEC for inter-company and customer exports and run an annual solicitation campaign, aiming to 100% response rate. - Ensure all necessary documentation is retained to support certifications of origin issuance and refound projects, adhering to Regal Rexnord's Record Keeping internal process. - Carry out the determination of the origin of the products and have the supporting information for its determination --Stay informed about business projects and import-export operation changes to identify potential risks affecting the certification of origin process. - Maintain an evergreen database of all imported and exported material numbers to include HTS classification, Country of Origin and USMCA qualification indicator to share with brokers and freight forwarders and for proper declaration to the authorities - Responsible to execute and submit the monthly reports and comply with the Submaquila obligations (register new vendors, etc) - Adopt Regal Rexnord's safety culture, clean working environment, life-saving rules, and daily 6S+ requirements to ensure a zero-incident culture. - Perform all job functions with adherence to Regal Rexnord's Philosophy & Values. - Create and maintain standard processes documentation, such as Working Instructions & Standard Works. - Lead meetings with stakeholders and demonstrate active participation in internal meetings & trainings. - Drives continuous improvement using tools and activities including: the Regal Business System (RBS) - Proactively identifies potential issues and effectively involves TC Supervisor and TC Manager to drive solution; handles routine escalations. Required Education / Experience / Skills: - Bacherlor’s Degree on International Business, Commerce (LIN, LCI, LRI) or related field. - Minimum experience of 3 years working with FTA programs and systems (Prisma, One Source, strongly preffered). - Knowledge of the IMMEX Decree legal frame, general customs rules and customs law in Mexico.+ - Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP. - Domain of root cause analysis methodologies - Data stage analysis (customs reports) - Analytical and critical thinking - Results focused - Ability to be analytically oriented and able to effectively problem solve and deliver on objectives - Strong attention to detail, dependable, and organized - Ability and skill with multitasking in a fast paced, fast growth and constantly changing environment - Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills. - Demonstrated ability to complete projects on time - Knowledge of U.S. and MX Customs regulations and other governmental agencies. - Experience with maquiladora regulations and compliance Travel: 3% Language: English required SCORECARD Mission Ensure compliance with IMMEX Customs regulations for Regal Rexnord’s maquiladora operations in Mexico Solicitation and Qualification processes under USMCA/T-MEC annual solicitation campaign, aiming to 100% response rate.
