**What does a great QA Automation Lead do?**
Our QA Automation Lead will be responsible for enabling strategically aligned delivery of value with high quality and performance aligned with SAFe (scaled agile) delivery practices driving excellence in quality assurance and DevOps engineering capabilities enabling reduced cycle times, proactively identifying risks, and driving continuous improvement in stability/availability. Drive best practices in quality and processes aligned to industry standards such as ITIL. Responsible for protecting intellectual property and being the custodians of quality and advocates for customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure quality assurance standards and requirements are met for existing and emerging technology, IT processes, and related activities.
- Represents Company to customers as part of a team.
- Contributes to the definition of quality assurance practices and standards.
- Participates in & supports projects such as new module implementations, business process reengineering, customizations, and software upgrades.
- Ensures specifications follow best practices and standards.
- Assists with training of new team members and acts as a mentor to Quality Analysts and Advanced Quality Analysts.
- Assists in the design and oversight of CI/CD pipeline development & performs hands-on build out of pipelines

Completes evaluation of test automation and development tools and advises on fit-for-purpose **What we look for/who would prosper in this role?**:

- 7+ years
- Java knowledge
- Experience with Selenium, Microfocus UFT, Postman, ReadyAPI, and other automation tools
- Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions, CI/CD orchestration tools, and other DevOps platforms
- Experience in Agile / SAFe methodologies
- 4-year degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or combination of experience and education
- Demonstrated record of progressively responsible experience in QA.
- Experience leading projects or small teams.
- Experience on open platform or TPF systems.
- Experience with quality testing tools such as Katalon Studio, Selenium, Unified Functional Tester, and more
- Experience of Jira for Requirements/Story management and work management tools
- Travel experience preferred.
- Proficient in Java
- SDET Knowledge
- Knowledge concerning the build out of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies
- SAFe certified
- DevOps Knowledge
