**Supplier Development Engineer**

Ensure that suppliers meet the required quality standards by driving continuous improvement, defect prevention, and compliance with customer-specific requirements. Coordinate audits, root cause analysis, and corrective actions with suppliers. Support robust new product introductions and strengthen supplier capabilities to ensure product and process consistency.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Qualify new suppliers in coordination with Project Buyers during the feasibility phase
- Communicate applicable business and customer-specific requirements (CSR) to suppliers
- Conduct supplier validation audits and support APQP implementation
- Collaborate with Engineering to define process parameters and ensure supplier capability
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for supplier-related quality issues
- Perform on-site visits to verify implementation of corrective actions
- Develop and monitor supplier improvement plans
- Identify process improvement and cost reduction opportunities
- Promote the use of Lean, Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke, MSA, and PFMEA methodologies
- Lead quality audits and track key performance indicators (KPIs)

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field (economic background also considered).
- Relevant experience in supplier management, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, IATF 16949:2016, and VDA 6.3 audits.
- Familiarity with metrology, inspection methods, and measurement techniques.
- Competent in problem solving and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Advanced English.
- Willing to travel as required.
