**This position reports to**:
Service Team Leader

**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work of low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will deliver quality service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position. This role is contributing to the Motion Service Business Area in Mexico. You will be mainly accountable for: - Performing entry level field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products. - Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities. - Executing work on a first-time right approach with customers, and ensuring the job is done on time and as quality standards. - Preparing all documents and customer reports to be signed by the customer representative. **Qualifications for the role**:

- You have 2 years of experience in predictive and preventive maintenance of frequency converters (Drives).
- Ability to demonstrate your technical knowledge in electric motors and generators in low, medium and high voltage.
- Have established skills in the use and management of laser aligners, vibration analyzers, thermographic analysis, management of PDMA electrical measurement equipment
- You are at ease communicating in English in an intermediate level.
- You have availability to travel. Valid driver’s license is desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electronic, Electromechanical Engineering or related field.
