Launch Materials Planner

**Temporary Position**
Ensure the supply of purchased components and raw material to meet all launch events in timely manner minimizing the cost in inventory and freight.

**Activities**
- Set up the part numbers in the systems of the company, ensuring that the part numbers exist in the MRP, setting up the planning parameters and purchased order parameters, in order to ensure that the MRP requires the correct amount of material systematically.
- Update the as necessary the supplier contact information data base, requiring the necessary information to program management and/or purchasing teams to stablish the first contact with the new suppliers
- Notify the risks associated with raw material supply, requiring the support in timely manner to mitigate the risks of raw material shortages in the launch events
- Set up the routes of the new suppliers and update the routes of current suppliers when necessary, getting the necessary information to update the PFEP in order to determine the shipping frequency and transport mode that will be used or updated.
- Perform BOM revisions to ensure that BOMs have the most updated revision level in all part numbers
- Assure correct transference of part numbers to Material planner once launch process has been finished
**Requirements**:
- 3 years of experience on automotive industry/ material planning
- QAD ERP Knowledge is a plus
- Advanced English
- Viability to travel within MX and US. Valid Passport and visa.
