As a Refrigeration Systems Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, management, and supervision of one or more refrigeration system product development projects with a focus on technical feasibility, on-time delivery, quality, and cost.

**What You’ll Do**
- Responsible for directing the design and integration of technology supporting new product introduction projects; coordinates project work to meet completion time and cost constraints to the satisfaction of the sponsor.
- Incorporate high quality, cost-effective solutions into project deliverables.
- Develop and execute Design Validation Plans based on program objectives.
- Effectively communicate the status of the technical program to project sponsors.
- Execute in a matrix-based organization, responsible for delivering system-level technologies to the project lead.
- Support continuous improvement quality projects to improve productivity and warranty claim reduction.
- Provide support to supplier quality related issues that require design intent validation.
- Support division financing by project plans to potential sponsors.
- Coach, advise and guide other technical staff members.

**Skills/Experience We’re Looking For**
- Experience in 3D parametric modeling (PTC Creo preferred)
- Experience in R290 and 454c refrigeration systems (A2L Group)
- Experience with hot/cold beverage dispensing systems (desirable)
- Flowchart
- DFMEA
- Dimensions and geometric tolerances
- POKA-YOKE system development
- 5S's
- APQP (advanced product quality planning)
- Problem solving method (8D'S, 5 Whys, and similar)
- SPC
- Knowledge of Project Management.
- Advanced English
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
- More than 2 years of experience Refrigeration Engineer or related career
- More than 1 years’ experience in product development
- Demonstrated experience leading the development of sealed systems.
- Demonstrated ability in optimizing refrigeration systems in compliance with quality and cost.
- Demonstrated experience in development and balancing of refrigeration systems.
- Development and monitoring of refrigeration system performance test plans.
- Experience in thermodynamics, heat transfer, CFD, statistical software and 6 sigma tools.
Development and follow-up of test plans for certification of new products in UL, NSF and CE agencies among others.
