Your new role
As Logistics Manager you will be responsible for the inventory planning including quality and activity of the replacement parts inventory, monitoring and controlling inventory turns, leading national purchasing activities for direct and indirect commodities, managing supplier negotiations and relationship focused on cost reduction, supervising storage, receiving, shipping ensuring on time delivery with various clients, monitoring importation and exportation activities maintaining communication with customs and logistics vendors, performing strategic initiatives for warehousing and transportation controlling the logistics partners involved, creating strong communication channels with commercial and operations areas delivering results for cost reduction and maintaining safety standards, adding new ideas for business opportunities through a solid relationship in the market leading a high performance team.
What you´ll need
- Bachelor´s Degree concluded.
- More than 3 years of experience in Managerial positions of Logistics or Supply Chain in hard manufacturing industries.
- Extensive experience in purchasing and sourcing of raw material and negotiation with suppliers.
- Proven record of experience leading areas as warehouse, impo / expo, distribution and logistics management in general.
- Strong leadership, proactive, self-driven and strategic business vision.
- ERP know how.
- Advanced English.
