As OPTIMA SOLUTIONS PROCESS ASSISTANT, you will lead the assigned human resources, to ensure that the parameters are within the established ranges together with the client, and the correct operation of the equipment in the lines in charge of PPG. You will report to the Certified Optima Solutions Professional Lead. **Key Responsibilities** - Ensure process control in the lines in charge of PPG. - Lead the launching of new technologies or PPG products. - Follow up on customer requirements, and new projects, related to PPG activity in the lines in charge. - Ensure calibration of measuring equipment. - Coordinate activities of assigned personnel. - Implement continuous improvement projects and is encouraged to seek new projects. - Follow line issues and the implements actions to eliminate them. - Ensure all activities are done with safety. - Ensure 5s is followed. - Support all new activities in the area and their implementation. - Provide ideas to improve process. **Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Rotate shifts. - 2+ Knowledge and experience in automotive painting (Defects, color, inks, solvent-based paint) - Knowledge in color, knowledge in visual inspection to differentiate and verify the tone of units with the master tone. - Preference for knowledge of painting processes in the automotive sector (Filler, Enamel, Varnish). - Knowledge in measurement equipment (Microgloss, NID, thickness gauge, x-rite, BYK). **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every single day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** **We are "One PPG" to the world.** **We trust our people every day, in every way.** **We make it happen.** **We run it like we own it.** **We do better today than yesterday - everyday.** Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process.
