**Job Summary**:
**Job contributions and key responsibilities**:
**Operational Management**
- Understand dimensional modeling concepts and design patterns for enterprise data warehouse structures.
- Evaluate and select process and logic patterns, data storage methods, and operating environment interfaces that effectively satisfy required business KPIs and metrics.
- Maintain and support visualization tools & data analytics platforms (Azure Synapse, Data Lake, etc.)
- Debugging/Troubleshoot BI models, systems, and software performance, and translate the analyses into actionable recommendations.
- Translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Support the creation and development of incoming reporting requests, including data reliability, and process infrastructure according to the BI strategy.
- Ensure that new and existing reports are accurate, and that all supporting data is properly administered.
- Overseeing the data warehouse, including the collection and utilization of all data and business performance.

**Governance**
- Creating and maintaining documentation according to the ISO standards, includes the architecture design, technical specification, data dictionary, SOPs, etc.
- Become intimately familiar with our business model and processes to influence the strategy and direction of BI strategy.

**Professional Development**
- Introduce new industry standards and techniques that deliver improved business intelligence solutions; evaluate new technologies for inclusion in developed solutions.

**Skills & Knowledge**:

- Expertise in Business Objects tools, such as Scheduler, Designer, Data Integrator, and BO Universe design.
- Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
- In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
- Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Background in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining.

**Education Level**:

- Bachelor’s Degree / Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Actuarial Science.

**Years of experience**:

- 3-5 year in related areas + 3years in business intelligence, analytical report developer or relevant experience.

**Licenses**:

- Not required

**Languages**:

- English / Ingles - Fluent
- Spanish / Español - Fluent

**Travel requirements**:

- Availability to travel 10% percent of the time -domestic and international
