**BAT **MEXICO **IS LOOKING FOR A** NEW CATEGORIES - DEMAND PLANNING ANALYST

**FUNCTION**: Marketing - New Categories
**LOCATION**:Monterrey

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

This role is part of the New Categories Marketing department.

The role is responsible for supporting the New Categories department in product forecasting and data analysis.
**Reports to: Planning & Insights Manager.**
**Reporting Level**:Managerial.

**Geographic Scope**:Latin-American and the Caribbean.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Demand plans development, responsible for the forecast accuracy for entrusted end markets.
- Tracking of all changes in demand plan in a monthly basis.
- New categories business KPIs tracking and reporting.
- Tracking of actual performance vs demand plan.
- Macro performance, trends and competitive environment analysis.
- Provide volume scenarios based on various assumptions (pricing, competitive launches, etc)
- To be in aligned with the Trade Marketing & Distribution and Brands teams in which insights should be reflected and tracked in the demand plan.
- Ensure On time in full reporting to the regional Strategy, Planning & Insights team.
- Monthly sales and target upload.
- Production and supply plan upload.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Graduated in Data Science, Math or Engineering.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Demand Planning, Supply Chain Management or Operations.
- Prior experience in supply planning, demand planning, forecasting, inventory management or manufacturing operations is a plus.
- Advanced experience in Excel, database and/or statistical tools.
- Strong mathematics and statistics skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure with limited supervision
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities with competing demands.
- Advance English written and verbal communication skills
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
