IT Consultant for Mechanical Simulation Applications

Tasks
- Consulting and support of worldwide Mechanical Simulation tools (ANSYS, 3dexperience Simulia, Abaqus, Altair, Moldflow etc.)
- Support a simulation related material database (ANSYS Granta)
- Support High Performance computing for simulation
- Self-responsible testing, configuration and implementation of new software or software features
- Prepare and coordinate software packaging
- Self-responsible coordination of changes of the technical infrastructure
- Contribution to complex projects as member or work package owner
- Active communication of relevant information on a global scale to internal costumers and IT
- Independent arrangement and organization of target-group-specific events or trainings
- Identification, evaluation and implementation of new technologies for Mechanical Simulation (e.g. digitalization aspects, real time simulation, cloud, virtual clients or GPU computing)

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional experience
- Good English language skills spoken and written
- Confident appearance and communication
- Good communication skills and intercultural sensitivity
- Independent work style and team orientation

Experience
- Knowledge and experience in the area of Simulation Applications
- Willingness and ability to work in a global distributed team
- Experience in a major Mechanical Simulation tool (ANSYS, 3dexperience Simulia, Abaqus, Altair, Moldflow etc.) is a plus
- Experience in service delivery is a plus.
