BASIC FUNCTION
Under Managing Director, K&B Group supervision, the Supply Chain Manager, K&B Brazil is responsible for leading areas related of Sales & Operations planning, Purchasing, Import & Export supply and Logistics (inbound and outbound) for Kohler and Fiori Products.
SCOPE TO SALES & OPERATIONS PLANNING AND IMPORT & EXPORT SUPPLY:
The Manager Demand Sales Planning is responsible for building an annual forecast proposal that will guide our planning and sales at K&B Brazil.
Responsible for analyses sales results, measuring it, maximizing profitability and support sales force to reach its goals. He/She must provide reports that will support sales force to get opportunities and make more profitability.
This position manages the short and long-term demand and supply planning supporting annual sales and has full accountability for managing finished goods inventory and turns. It must support the production, import and export planning.
Collaborates with other Global Supply Chains within K&B to ensure appropriate import supply is available where required. This role encompasses comprehension and input into the demand planning process, alignment of supply management, support of New Product Development (NPD), management of product lead times, and accountability for delivering service commitments.
Lead and manage all aspects of government regulatory compliance for international import and export shipments of the Kohler Co. Monitor the team to make sure that all import and export shipments follow the Kohler pater and get on its destiny on time.
SCOPE TO LOGISTICS:
Manage all functions of Distribution Center and Warehouse operations for Kohler owned and operated facilities within K&B Brazil. Manage the strategic relationship between Kohler Co. and selective 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) providers. Responsible and accountable for all Transportation related costs for Inbound, Interplant freight and Customer Delivery freight movements. This position has full responsibility for managing the performance for the K&B Brazil Logistics operations including Cost, Quality, Safety, Service, and Sustainability.
SCOPE TO PURCHASE:
Responsible for all purchasing related functions including supplier management, cost reduction, quality improvement and support to New Product Development projects - direct procurement. Analyzes changes or new issues in components and materials to reduce total cost and improve quality. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Responsibilities extend to managing budgets and leading global spend coordination of categories unique to assigned business unit. Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and/or services from suppliers. Prepares and evaluates supplier quotations and services to determine most competitive solution based upon a total cost of ownership. Familiar with a variety of purchasing concepts, practices, and procedures, responsible for direct and indirect materials. Leads complex sourcing projects and supplier performance reviews. Performs a variety of complicated procurement tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Keep focus on Specific Raw Material in order to understand the Mine’s life, bringing annual saving minimum the inflation.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the sales teams to ensure the organization is managed efficiently to come in under goals.
- Support the development of special projects in South America (Fiori Brand) and Brazil (Kohler and Fiori Brands), planning and following the reults.
- Provide clear, concise communication for sales, production and financial teams, and act as communication liaison to field sales.
- Collaborate with other members of the sales and production teams to develop and execute programs.
- Develop strong Account Plan Templates to drive sales at all key customers.
- Be responsible for the demand forecast of KOHLER Fixtures and Faucets for Brazil Business Team. Ensure all input to the owners and provide quality information for the consensus unit plan (12 month rolling), identify gaps between the Financial Forecast and S&OP, and put efforts to close the gaps and propose strategic plans which are aligned for new product launches.
- Manage all aspects of sales reports including actual sales, forecasts, sales pipeline report and other reports as necessary.
- Develop monthly supply plans for manufacturing and contract suppliers on a 12 month cycle, maintaing a feasible, level loaded production plan.
- Support NPD, Product Lifecycle Management and Discontinuation.
- Develop supply plans and monitor adherence to drive SKU’s to lead times target.
- Identify gaps between customer stated lead time performance and targets and adjust accordingly.
- Responsible for managing purchased and manufactured supply associated with annual sales and operational costs.
