Commercial Finance Analyst

**COMMERCIAL FINANCE ANALYST**

This role reports into the Analytics team lead and will engage with stakeholders at all levels to deliver best in class analytics and reporting of financial and commercial insights. This individual will play a key role in the success of HH Global’s commercial models and our client’s commercial requirements. He/she will be responsible for providing support to teams in North, Central, and South Americas; and will work closely with the local account teams to assure commercial requirements are met.

This is a client-facing role and is key to the success of the Sales and Client services Account teams.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Audits spend and savings data.
- Tracks accruals
- Builds and implements audit controls, process improvements, and data analysis.
- Confidently challenges briefs to steer data projects in the right direction
- Interacts with reporting and commercial finance teams to deliver accurate information used to lead the decision-making process
- Delivers best in class service to internal and external client teams
- Supports internal and external commercial finance teams in the construction of pricing lists, benchmarking, and pricing tools.
- Quickly develops an understanding of different financial objectives and commercial plans to support the business.
- Owner of pricing validation tools, rate cards, models, and uploads to SAP and is responsible for maintaining, updating, and creating these tools.
- Helps enforce account team’s correct data input for accuracy of output
- Identifies financial reporting risks
- Identifies and documents controls to prevent or detect incorrect data
- Tracks rebates
- Responsible for client driven audit controls across multiple markets
- Presents to client and internal groups solutions and risks
- Focused on financial performance and mitigating business risk

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Education: Finance, Economics, Engineering, Administration or related
- English (fluent)
- Advanced computer literacy - Advanced Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to quickly pickup new technologies and systems.
- Knowledge working with SAP desirable
- Knowledge of audit programs and commercial finance
- Skilled at collaborating across cross-functional teams and with a multicultural experience
- Good presentation skills
- Data driven focus with some creative flare
- Ability to understand and follow often lengthy processes, whilst suggesting improvements
- Ability to quickly pickup new technologies and systems.
- Comfortable managing admin heavy data management projects
- Able to effectively follow instructions and templates, but also confident when required to review and challenge existing processes
- Excellent communication skills, able to confidently present in front of both internal departments and external clients (where required)
- Well organized, with good planning and time management skills
- Customer focused
- Demonstrates a commitment to quality and service
- Previous experience of working within a reporting / data / analytics team
- Experience working with procurement teams and models and/or within the scope of Marketing contracts
