We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Controller to oversee and manage the daily accounting functions, financial reporting, and budgeting activities for an American company that specializes in Gene Therapy.

This person must have an advanced English level, both written and spoken, proven experience in a similar roll, great leadership skills and keen attention to detail.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Accounting & Financial Reporting**: Oversee the AP/AR processes, monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles. Prepare journal entries, income statements, and balance sheet reconciliations in line with US GAAP.
- **MIS & Budgeting**: Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements, job/project costing, cash flow reports, and variance analysis. Maintain and adjust budget forecasts to align with financial goals.
- **Systems & Controls**: Implement and enhance accounting systems and internal controls to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. Lead cost accounting and time tracking initiatives for process development and IP creation.
- **Financial Analysis & Risk Management**: Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Evaluate and mitigate financial risks related to liquidity, credit, and market conditions.
- **Audit & Compliance**: Coordinate with external auditors, ensuring timely compliance with audit requirements. Maintain compliance with tax laws, industry regulations, and US GAAP.
- **Cash Management & Stakeholder Communication**: Manage cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity. Communicate financial insights to senior management, the board, investors, and other stakeholders.
- **Strategic Partnership**: Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, and business expansions.
- **Additional Duties**: Assist with independent research, offer solutions to complex issues, and coordinate with both US and Noida teams. Willingness to travel to Noida as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Advanced English both written and spoken

**What we offer**:

- Base salary of $50,000 to $60,000 before taxes

- Home office bonus of $800 pesos a month
- 100% remote position

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per month
