With a dedicated team and a strong focus on patient outcomes, we are committed to excellence in both clinical care and operational efficiency. **Position Summary**: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented **Billing Manager** to lead our billing operations for **Durable Medical Equipment (DME)** and **Traditional Home Health (THH)** services. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the billing cycle, ensuring timely claims submission, effective collections, denial prevention, and compliance with industry regulations. The Billing Manager will also guide and develop a team of billing specialists, manage complex billing issues, and contribute directly to organizational revenue cycle performance and financial stability. **Key Responsibilities**: - Direct daily billing activities for DME and THH services, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely claim submissions. - Supervise, mentor, and support Billing Specialists through ongoing training, goal setting, and performance evaluations. - Monitor and manage key billing functions, including claims processing, denial resolution, account receivables aging, and collections. - Act as the primary escalation point for complex or unresolved billing issues with payers or patients. - Prepare and deliver detailed weekly billing reports, trend analysis, and financial forecasts to executive leadership. - Work closely with the Operations Manager to resolve workflow inefficiencies that impact billing processes and cash flow. - Develop and implement strategies to enhance billing accuracy, reduce denials, expedite collections, and optimize overall revenue. - Oversee patient statement accuracy, manage patient balance collections, and handle patient inquiries related to billing concerns. **Performance Metrics (KPIs)**: - **Denial Rate**: < 5% - **Clean Claims Submission Rate**: ≥ 95% - **Claims Processed Within 24 Hours**: ≥ 95% of eligible claims - **A/R Over 90 Days**: Maintain below industry benchmark - **Team Productivity & Accuracy**: Monitored monthly with defined benchmarks **Qualifications**: - Proven experience in billing management, preferably within the DME and/or home health industry. - Strong knowledge of **Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payer requirements**, and **HIPAA compliance**. - Proven experience leading billing teams and managing a full revenue cycle. - Proficiency with billing software systems (e.g., Brightree, Kareo, or similar platforms). - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills. **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $125.00 - $170.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week Application Question(s): - Do you have experience working as a Billing Manager Work Location: Remote
