**- The Network Security Engineer will be part of the team responsible for the implementation and support of security infrastructure within our multi-customers. This role will be an internal technical position focusing on the overall architecture, initial configuration, and deployment of network security infrastructure as well as documentation of all processes and procedures in support of the network security infrastructure. This individual will also be the last point of escalation for security incidents within the environment.

**General Accountabilities**
- Review and implement firewall rule changes working through a ticketing system.
- Configure firewalls for usage, manage their day-to-day operations and perform regular maintenance through upgrades and patches.
- Configuration/administration of software and hardware components of firewalls and other portions of security infrastructure.
- Track and manage licenses status for renewal & upgrades.
- Support and maintain content filtering, VPN, firewalls, and other network traffic management systems.
- Fully test, monitor and document system changes through change process.
- Schedule after hours maintenance windows and coordinate customer notifications.
- Ensure that tickets and tasks are completed or resolved within SLA.
- Assist in documentation and monitoring for existing infrastructure
- Write and maintain documentation on process procedures, device status, firewall block lists, and other important technical areas.
- Create diagrams of network topologies and record details of troubleshooting processes.
- Adhere to client policy requirements for security systems & follow policies and standards to support network security and regulatory requirements.
- Overall knowledge of network technologies.

**Job Qualifications**

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- ITSM foundation training required.
- CCNP Security
- Palo Alto PCNSE Certification (preferred)
- Checkpoint Certification (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Overall, of 5+ years in an Information Security environment supporting services (Firewalls, VPN, IPS/IDS, Cisco ISE, Content filtering, FMC, FTD, Panorama and FortiManager)
- 4+ years in Configuration, administration & Troubleshooting of Cisco ASA / FTD including Site to site VPN, AnyConnect VPN and IPS systems.
- 3+ Configuration, administration & Troubleshooting of Checkpoint, Palo Alto, SonicWall and Fortinet Firewalls.
- 3+ Configuration/administration of Balancer
- F5 and Citrix NetScaler.

- Fluent English language skills required: verbal and written communication.
- Experience working with multicultural teams and customers.
- Self-motivated and disciplined.
- Excellent meeting facilitation skills, including teleconference and web conference.
- Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call rotation.
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide mentorship.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and non-technical personnel.
