**Financial Accountant**

We are currently recruiting for a strong Accountant to join a well-respected and growing company. We are a manufacturing company with products that combine the newest technologies in our field with cutting-edge design and sustainable building materials to produce unique products with quality craftsmanship. We strive to meet the needs of our clients by producing work that reflects our accrued knowledge and our attention to aesthetics. As a small company with international partners, you will be involved in many different areas. Your knowledge of QuickBooks, accounts receivable and inventory functions and general ledger are essential.

Working closely with management, employees, customers and vendors, you will be responsible for all transactional accounting including month end close and process improvement initiatives.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**
- Accounts Receivable function
- Treasury accounting - post transactions, reconcile cash accounts, prepare wires and initiate online payments
- Reconcile corporate credit card
- Journal entries, assist with month-end closing & financial reporting
- Maintain complete master files in QuickBooks (A/R, Item master, etc.)
- Timeliness and accuracy of transacting inventory, shipments and billings
- Serve as a key resource for our organization and provide oversight to ensure that the disbursements and records are complete and accurate
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable.
- Encourage teamwork by collaborating with the owner and co-workers
- Maintaining confidential company information

**Qualifications**
- Professional communication skills
- Bilingual - fluent in Spanish and English a must
- Excellent organization skills
- Excellent analytical skills for reviewing data and reports
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel (including v-lookups & pivot tables)
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
- Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, policies and procedures
- Skills in oral and written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Ability to create and/or update procedures to gain maximum efficiency
- Displays initiative, curiosity and the ability to work effectively with limited supervision
- The ability to act as a resourceful contributing member of the accounting and support teams

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of accounts payable /general ledger experience
- Self Starter with excellent communication skills
- Proficient with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise software
- Good Job experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per month
